Capturing an Epic’s Investment Theme

Have you sunk your teeth into the new Agile Portfolio Management capabilities of our latest release yet?

One question that we’ve been asked frequently is, “How do I handle Investment Themes?”  Investment Themes represent company initiatives and are comprised of several epics.

A custom drop-down on the epic asset provides a useful way to capture an epic’s investment theme.  The drop-down will be available as a filter, so people who care about a particular investment theme can filter the Epicboard and Epic Tree pages.  As for reporting, VersionOne Analytics automatically supports custom drop-downs.  Portfolio Managers can easily ask questions like, “How much time are we allocating across each of our Investment Themes?”
