iPad Overtakes Linux in Browser Usage

April 21, 2011 CollabNet VersionOne

Interesting that the iPad has now overtaken Linux in US browser usage. Being as CollabNet has strong ties to the open source community I checked out our traffic year-to-date to see how these stats correlate. Linux still ranks higher in terms of overall traffic at about 4% compared with the iPad in under 0.5%. What’s also interesting is that our mobile traffic is gaining ground but has not quite reached 1% of overall traffic yet.

What devices are you using to access Codesion? Would you want to see an iPhone, iPad, or Android app from us in the future and if so, what features would it have?
