Reflecting on 9/11

As I am sure almost all of us are aware of by now, the tenth anniversary of 9/11 is this Sunday.  It is almost impossible to live in the United States (or hopefully anywhere) and not feel deeply for the families and friends of those individuals who lost their lives.  While this is obviously not something any of us wants to think about, also not something any of us should ever forget. 

I would simply ask anyone interested to please join me at some point today or this weekend in taking a moment of silence to recognize and honor all the people – victims, families, friends, police, firefighters, etc. –  impacted by this incredibly unfortunate event.  Many heroes showed up during those two hours, some of them no longer with us, some of them still here – all of them deserving our praise.
